ILT09 is a new, international theatre festival taking place in Aarhus, Denmark.
From June 11th - 18th 2009, when the theatre season is over, the stages of the city will show some of the best theatre, dance, and performance going on on the international stage.
ILT09 is a unique festival.
For the first time, several of the theatres join together in a big and ambitious collaboration. The shared goal is to generate oxygen. To whirl round the air, such as the logo of the festival symbolizes, and create mutual inspiration and development.
It is the intention to make the ILT-festival a returning event every second year, and ILT09 will be followed by ILT11.
